Bio: I was born in the UK, moving to Kenya when Iwas eight years old. I returned to England and went to the boarding school previously attended by the Bronte sisters, 200 years prior, in the isolated Cumbrian moors. After completing school in England, I moved with my family to Australia where I remained for many years. I have travelled extensively in Africa, Europe and England and like to draw on my experiences for inspiration. Although I have been a writer of stories my whole life, it is only in more recent years that I started pursuing this professionally. I created, wrote for, edited, published and distributed a community magazine in East Sussex before returning to Western Australia to firmly cement my position as a writer. I have completed a Bachelor of Writing, majoring in Creative Writing and English. I am currently taking Honours in Writing at university, as part of post-graduate studies, where I am pursuing practice-led research. I am passionate about presenting a fresh perspective to Australian history through my fiction writing, which will contribute new knowledge to the field.
